Located in the city of Erie’s central business district, Gannon’s Highmark Events Center is a basketball/volleyball facility with a capacity to seat 2,800 and two full locker rooms (can be split into 4). The Highmark Events Center recently hosted the National Collegiate Acrobatics and Tumbling Association (NCATA) National Championships.
Gannon is home to 22 varsity sports teams for men and women in NCAA Division II.
McConnell Family Stadium is an outdoor multi-purpose complex which is used for football, soccer, baseball, softball, and lacrosse with a seating capacity of 2,500, two locker rooms, and excellent lighting for night time events. The facility had brand-new turf installed in the spring of 2022.
Gannon completed construction of the new Recreation and Wellness Center in 2014, which includes a 52,000 square foot indoor turfed facility, a gymnasium with area for three courts (basketball, volleyball, or badminton), and three regulation racquetball courts.
The Carneval Athletic Pavilion houses the water polo and swim teams in a 6-lane, 25-yard pool beneath a 250-seat observation deck.
