- Erie’s Presque Isle Bay is a 5.8 square mile recreational amenity in downtown Erie.
- The bay is approximately 4.6 miles long and 1.8 miles wide with an average depth of 20 feet. Popular activities on the bay include swimming, sailing, crew, diving, kayaking, fishing, sailboarding, and waterskiing.
- Erie’s waterfront is lined with marinas, public parks and piers which can accommodate thousands of spectators.
- Highmark Amphitheater, a special events facility on the waterfront, can host up to 5,000 people.
